There are no residential collections made on these holidays:
- New Years Day, Friday, January 1, 2010
- Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, 2010
- Labor Day, Monday, September 6, 2010
- Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25, 2010
- Christmas Day, Saturday, December 25, 2010
Please set out waste and recycling containers for collection on your regularly scheduled service day for all other holidays, including: Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday, Lincoln’s Birthday, Presidents’ Day, Washington’s Birthday, Cesar Chavez Day, Independence Day, Sunday, July 4, 2010 (Due to the holiday falling on a Sunday, residential collection services will not be delayed this year) and Veterans’ Day.
Collection days following the holiday will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week.
Following each designated holiday that occurs on a weekday, waste removal services will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week. Example: following Thanksgiving, service regularly scheduled on Thursday will be performed on Friday, and normal Friday pick up will be done on Saturday. (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday collection will be conducted without interruption).

Holidays that occur on Monday will delay service for the remainder of the week.

Holiday service is moved to the next day if performed on or following a holiday. |
If your regular service day occurs before a holiday, your service day remains the same. |
If regular service day is Thursday, it will be moved to Friday following the holiday. |
If regular service day is Friday, it will be moved to Saturday following the holiday. |
