Coupon Information

Free cleanup coupons are sent by mail to residents of the City of Escondido only. Property owners who do not reside in Escondido may not use the coupon. The coupon provides a convenient opportunity for residents living within the city limits of Escondido to clean up in and around their home and dispose of unwanted materials free of charge. The coupon is non-transferable. Although the facility is open and available to you seven days a week, there is less traffic and shorter waiting times on Sundays. Here is how the coupon works:

1. You will absolutely need your coupon with you in order to dump free of charge. We will not accept copies, or sneaky reproductions under any circumstances.
2. When you have loaded your vehicle, simply drive to the Escondido Resource Recovery located at 1044 W. Washington Ave. (between Rock Springs Road and Metcalf in Escondido. See map here. Open seven days a week, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Pull onto the scale and hand our fee collector your coupon (again, you must have your coupon or you will be required to pay).
3. You will be directed to the self-haul area of the transfer station to off-load. Depending on how you loaded your vehicle, you should be finished in minutes!
